SCORE was the first small business organization to embrace e-learning and the Internet as an online counseling tool, offering free business advice online 24/7.
The SCORE Small Business Web Site launched on June 11, 1997, and Ask SCORE quickly became the Web site’s hallmark service. Within 90 days, the site garnered more than 1.6 million hits and more than 3,000 email counseling cases. At its inception the site listed 140 email counselors.
